Helloooo!
This is my first podcast episode on Substack! Every Sunday, you will receive a voice note from me, sharing my unfiltered monologues and musings about philosophy, spirituality and life in L.A - all the juicy stuff that doesn’t make it on my podcast - because this is the most raw and honest version of myself that I share in any place online. It’s as close as you will feel to being inside my brain.
And that shit deserves borders around it.

So this weeks episode is all about what happened when I moved to L.A
I had an exorcism.
Moving to L.A has put me through some of the most potent shadow work in my life. I have met every single part of my psyche and exorcised them out, with love, one by one, to fully metamorphosis the woman I am becoming.
The moment you step into a BIGGER life is the exact moment all of the frightened parts of yourself come running back, begging you to choose the safety and familiarity over this new, frightening unknown.
Even if it’s not what you consciously want.
The day I arrived and checked into my hotel, at the precipice of the life I had spent more than a year dreaming of and planning, I became possessed by all of the old versions of myself. Violently. Every single one. It was like coming face to face with every part of me that was still fighting to exist in this new life, because they knew they were afraid that they were no longer needed in this unfamiliar version of my life that I was stepping into.
The voice of my child self that wanted to keep me safe from being rejected socially. The voice of my teen self, concerned about her body and fixating on how it looks to feel in control.
I got to witness an exorcism of every hurt, shamed, smaller version of me.
This weeks love note is about how I discovered those parts were actually trying to protect me, and how I lovingly released them so that I could continue to grow.
This is for anyone in a liminal space right now, unsure of where they’re going next, feeling very much between-worlds and between-selves.
Maybe you’ve got some old ghosts in your life, too…
